Pain, Problems, and Patterns

By on April 6, 2016

Are YOU struggling with something that the doctors don’t seem to be able to help you with?

Do you have chronic pain?

Are you looking for pain management techniques and pain management solutions to chronic pain?

There was a time when people died or suffered from incurable illness. Strep throat caused heart failure and limbs were amputated because of an infected wound.

Very rarely does that happen now.

Why not?

Because scientists like Robert Lister, Louis Pasteur, and others recognized the “germ theory” and antibiotics and immunizations were developed to cure infections and illnesses.

However, here in lies the problem.

A new set of health issues are upon us and the system recognizes them but does very little in combating or preventing them. These issues, such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, digestive diseases, obstructive pulmonary disease, and of course, cancer, are labeled as chronic illness or chronic disease.

By chronic illnesses, we mean all those conditions, ailments, and illnesses that make you sick and never go away. That’s not what they do.
Add to that the fact that chronic illness is more often than not accompanied by chronic pain!

Their nature is to stay or to come back again, and again.

What are these diseases? You’ve heard of them! They all bring misery and threats to our lives!

They include:

  • Heart disease
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Arthritis
  • Digestive diseases
  • Osteoporosis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Kidney and live ailments
  • Cancer

What do such illnesses have in common that qualify them all as ‘chronic disease”?

  • First, chronic illnesses do not heal themselves; they are not “self -limiting”. The common cold is self-limiting. It runs its course and then it’s gone. Chronic illness does not do that!
  • Second, chronic illnesses grow worse over time.
  • Third, chronic disease doesn’t have a single cause you can point to; several factors give rise to it.
  • Fourth, chronic illnesses have complex profiles—different complaints, different variations.

But what if these diseases, conditions, and pain we call chronic derive from a variety of causes?

Doctors are trained in a pharmaceutical strategy that seeks one cause…to explain one disease…that can be treated with one drug. That seems to be the common pain management solution!

And if the drug of choice does not give pain relief then physical therapy is prescribed for pain treatment with little or no long term success.
Then what happens to the person with chronic body pain with the physical therapy is terminated?

Bottom line, unless we implement drastic change, we are headed toward a frail, sick, older age in which we will spend much of our time going to doctors and popping pills!

What We Are Doing Is Not Working!

So, what is the answer as to why modern day medicine has failed to solve our health crisis?
What is the solution? More drugs?

The pill-for-an-ill system has been proven to be the wrong way in addressing chronic illness and the treatment of pain that are today’s dilemma. We have to be willing to reacquire the knowledge of what nature provides for natural remedies—not ground up chemicals!
It seems that more and different pharmaceuticals have been the present day model—let’s treat a symptom and mask a cause.

As I said, the current healthcare system is really about treating disease. If we want to get serious about building health, we have to personally be in charge.

Let’s call it “self-immunization”.

It essentially means we can’t just keep waiting for the world to change, we have to change ourselves…to empower ourselves. Healthy doesn’t happen by itself!

But to do that, we must acquire a skill set. We need more than will power; we need skill power!

At 33 years old, I suffered a spinal injury that ended my law enforcement career. I didn’t realize until many years later that at 33 years old, fate had put up a road block that ended up just being a detour.

It was at that point that I had to take ownership of my life and realize that it’s not always (or in all ways) going to be pretty and perfect. I had to learn to manage my own pain.

I had to find pain management techniques that were other than taking pain killer or non-essential physical therapy. It became quite apparent that alternative pain and chronic health issue treatments weren’t out there.

We aren’t looking for quick fixes or for people who aren’t interested in making permanent, lasting changes.

We take pride in ourselves and our program.

Too many people blame their unfortunate situation on the government, the weather, their genetics, global warming, the economy, their parents, getting old, etc.

Not us.

We don’t expect anything to be handed to us; we are not owed anything by anybody. In fact, it’s our responsibility as humans to live the best life possible.

We are looking for people that are seeking improvement (even if they don’t know it yet) and adventure.

Yep, I said adventure. The rest of your life is an adventure; venture into it.

For all the questions and reasons above, we are going to offer you a free online course  to help you overcome the mental and physical blocks that are holding you back. This course is a product of…

…a highly successful program that’s been fifteen, painstaking years in the design and implementation in our brick and mortar business.

Program Overview…What Can You Expect

In our culture, we like to say that “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Nice thought, but not enough. It’s not possible to achieve every goal you have your sights on if you don’t add skill to your will! The will is certainly the important first step, but you need a way, one that you can identify with and consistently be able to follow.

Feet, Food, and Attitude

Eventually, the unfamiliar will become the familiar. Your priorities are an important part of the equation since the dietary and activity patterns you have chosen in the past reflect the way you presumably want to live the rest the of your life.

If it’s working for you, great job! Let me know how you’re doing.

If not, read on…we can help, no, we will help!

Take a peek at this. This is well-known as the “stages of change”, when it comes to changing  behavior and I have used it for many years…effectively.

  • Some people are ready
  • Some people are set
  • And some are already going
    …but others…
  • Aren’t even to the starting line!

Feet, Food, and Attitude

We have a formula and it’s not magical pixie dust or far-fetched woo-woo ideas and gimmicks.

The most powerful formula for getting and staying healthy is to use moderate amounts of willpower and a heaping dose of skill power!

That’s what we do and so will you!

We specialize in mentoring people just like you to overcome the obstacles you have in finding health.

Some we have helped in overcoming illness…others we have helped in preventing it.

And yet some others, are simply beyond the mental blocks that were holding them back from living well each day!
