Your Life Today Is the Sum of Your Habits!

Are You Aware That Good Habits, or Bad Habits, Always Deliver Results?

Are you also aware that one of the problems for people with bad habits is that the results of their bad habits usually don’t show up until much later in life?

When You Develop a Chronic Bad Habit, Life Will Eventually Bite You in the Ass!

You might not like it but you’re still going to get the consequences…period!

Unless you take action to develop better habits NOW!

How Can I Start to Change My Bad Habits? It’s much easier than you think. Seriously! And it’s free! The only cost is just a little time…

According to Jack Canfield in his book The Success Principles, the following is a list of the most common unsuccessful habits:

  • Procrastinating
  • Paying bills at the last minute
  • Not delivering on promised documents and services in a timely way
  • Letting receivables get overdue
  • Arriving for meetings and appointments
  • Forgetting someone’s name within seconds of being introduced
  • Talking over other’s comments,, instead of listening
  • Handling the mail more than once
  • Having fast-food meals more twice a week

…and I added one

  • Having your face stuck in your cellphone during family or spouse time—or any time you should be caring about those around you.

Your Life Today Is the Sum of Your Habits!

What you repeatedly do (i.e. what you spend time thinking about and doing each day) ultimately forms the person you are, the things you believe, and the personality that you portray.

How physically in shape or out of shape you are? A result of your habits!

How healthy or unhealthy are you? A result of your habits!

How happy or unhappy you are? A result of your habits!

How successful or unsuccessful you are? A result of your habits!

You might be wondering if I want to form new habits, how would I go about it?

I know exactly how you feel.

In fact, I felt the same way when I wanted to make a change!

It wasn’t until recently that I realized that all of that ceremonious stuff about changing habits is BS…period!

Let me give you a hint: you don’t eliminate a bad habit—you replace it!

I was able to de-construct my old, been-around-forever philosophy about habits (good or bad) and re-construct a new behavior in a single afternoon!

It was that simple!
